Hello I am Rex Goldsmith, the owner of the Chelsea Fishmonger.

Welcome to our website.

We have three shops all selling beautiful fish and shellfish.

Our Chelsea outlet is a traditional open fronted shop and has been a fishmonger for around 100 years. It is situated on Chelsea Green, a tucked away little paradise for shoppers, just off the Kings Road. As well as our beautiful fish shop there is the fantastic Haynes Hanson and Clark wine specialist, Jago the Family Butcher, Maison Blanc, numerous exclusive boutiques and some wonderful restaurants.

Our Guildford shop is the newest shop and is located on King Post Parade, Burpham, Guildford. The shop boasts a very large display full of the most exquisite fish and seafood. It is perfectly situated for the whole of Guildford and the surrounding areas just of the A3 and there is ample parking.
 
Rex Goldsmith’s Fresh Fish (where it all began) is located within the famous Secretts farm shop in the lovely village of Milford, nr. Goldalming, Surrey. Secretts farm shop is an Aladdin’s cave for the gastronaut. As well as our fish shop there is fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh meat, a cheese counter to rival any of the big London department stores, a wide range of preserves and sauces, a flower shop and the ever popular Eliza’s tea shop. You can pick your own fruit and vegetables if you wish, walk around the beautifully kept grounds and even feed the ducks.

Whatever shop you visit you will find only the finest hand picked fish from the Cornish market at Newlyn and London’s famous Bilingsgate Market. Our fishmongers have a vast knowledge of fish and seafood, from fishing methods to culinary expertise. We even have a fisheries scientist in one of our shops and a retired Brixham trawlerman in another. And we are only too happy to prepare the fish anyway you like it.
